Diana is happy to have yummy lunches!

Diana’s favorite food is chicken soup, which she is hoping she might get to eat soon for lunch in the CENIT cafeteria, thanks to Laura’s generosity.

Diana is 9 years old, and studies at Manuel de Jesús Calle School. Her family is from the mountainous province of Chimborazo, and she has one younger sibling.

Her dad works in construction in Santo Domingo, which is about 3 hours north of Quito, and she seems him about once a month. Her mom works selling corn and fava beans in a market near CENIT: her earnings pay for basic household necessities. On Saturdays and Sundays Diana helps her mom in the market.
